Actuarial Diversity Scholarship

Deadline: 2nd Quarter

The Actuarial Diversity Scholarship promotes diversity within the profession through an annual scholarship program for Black/African American, Hispanic, Native North American and Pacific Islander students. The scholarship award recognizes and encourages the academic achievements of full-time undergraduate students pursuing a degree that may lead to a career in the actuarial profession.


American Meteorological Society Minority Scholarship

Deadline: 1st Quarter

The AMS Minority Scholarships will award funding to minority students who have been traditionally underrepresented in the sciences, especially Hispanic, Native American, and Black/African American students.


Blacks at Microsoft

Deadline: 1st Quarter

The BAM Scholarship was created to enable Black and African American students to attend college and pursue a career in technology. The goal is to empower future generations to do and be more.


Congressional Black Caucus Foundation

Deadline: 1st Quarter

For more than three decades the CBCF in partnership with CBC Spouses has awarded scholarships to talented and deserving students. Each year, we award more than 300 scholarships to students that demonstrate leadership ability through exemplary community service and academic talent. Our scholarship programs support current or upcoming college students across a variety of disciplines.


Gates Scholarship

Deadline: 3rd Quarter

The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to 300 of these student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential.


Gensler Rising Black Designers Scholarship

Deadline: 1st Quarter

The Rising Black Designers Scholarship + Design Challenge awards under-represented Black students enrolled in U.S. not-for-profit architecture programs with academic tuition scholarships, micro-scholarships for books and materials, and opportunities for summer internships. Scholarships available amount to $60,000.


Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship

Deadline: 1st Quarter

Through its Mentoring and Leadership Development Program, the Jackie Robinson Foundation provides scholarships of up to $30,000 over four years to minority high school students showing leadership potential and demonstrating financial need to attend an accredited 4-year college or university of their choice.


KnowBe4 Scholarship for Black Americans in Cybersecurity

Deadline: 1st Quarter

Tens of thousands of organizations worldwide use KnowBe4’s platform to mobilize their end users as a last line of defense and enable them to make better security decisions, every day.


National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)

Deadline: 1st Quarter

The NSBE provides scholarships to African American students pursuing an engineering degree. Members of the Society are required to verify their GPA twice a year: once in the Spring and again in the Fall.


Ron Brown Scholar Fund

Deadline: 1st Quarter

The Ron Brown Scholar Program provides Scholars with the financial resources to attend some of the finest colleges and universities in the country. Upon acceptance, Scholars are each awarded $40,000 ($10,000 per year for 4 years toward educational expenses), that may be used at the college or university of their choice. Acceptance into the Program means Scholars are also provided with the nurturing and mentorship to succeed and flourish in college and beyond.


Thurgood Marshall College Fund

Deadline: Ongoing

Established in 1987, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) is the nation’s largest organization exclusively representing the Black College Community. TMCF member-schools include the publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs).


UNCF Scholarship Programs

Deadline: 1st Quarter

UNCF is the nation’s largest private scholarship provider to minority group members. Each year, we award more than $100 million in scholarships to students attending more than 1,100 schools across the country, including our prestigious network of 37 HBCUs.
