Actuarial Diversity Scholarship

The Actuarial Diversity Scholarship promotes diversity within the profession through an annual scholarship program for Black/African American, Hispanic, Native North American and Pacific Islander students. The scholarship award recognizes and encourages the academic achievements of full-time undergraduate students pursuing a degree that may lead to a career in the actuarial profession.


American Meteorological Society Minority Scholarship

Deadline: 1st Quarter

The AMS Minority Scholarships will award funding to minority students who have been traditionally underrepresented in the sciences, especially Hispanic, Native American, and Black/African American students.


BECA Foundation

Deadline: 1st Quarter

BECA believes that every San Diego County Latino high school graduate who has the desire to attend an institution of higher learning, be provided an opportunity.


California Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation

The California Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation (CLLCF) is pleased to invite all qualified California residents to apply for a scholarship. This scholarship program was established to assist deserving students by offering financial assistance to help meet educational expenses.


Gates Scholarship

Deadline: 3rd Quarter

The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to 300 of these student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential.


Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU)

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is pleased to be the administrator of scholarship opportunities provided by our partners to assist in defraying some of your college expenditures. Please review each scholarship’s criteria carefully to see if you qualify, since each partner may have differing requirements.


Hispanic Scholarship Fund

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund sponsors a variety of scholarship programs to graduating high school seniors. These scholarships are open to individuals studying in any field, but require students to be of Hispanic heritage and meet minimum GPA requirements and attend an accredited university.


Jorge Caballero Student Leadership Award

Deadline: 3rd Quarter

Deloitte LLP, in partnership with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), is offering the Jorge Caballero Student Leadership Award. This award provides $10,000 in funds for high-achieving accounting students who have demonstrated leadership qualities through academics and community involvement.


League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC)

Deadline: 1st Quarter

The LULAC National Scholarship Fund (LNSF) was established in 1975 to provide scholarships to Hispanic students attending colleges and universities. Under the LNSF program, local LULAC Councils, in partnership with local and national businesses, award scholarships to students in their communities.


Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)

Deadline: 2nd Quarter

With 150+ scholarships totaling over $340,000, SHPE is actively narrowing the gap in the Hispanic STEM education pipeline.
